Kansas Council of Chapters - MOAA Military Officers Association Of America Serving The Seven Great Kansas MOAA Chapters Santa Fe Trail Chapter  -  Leavenworth, KS About The Chapter The Chapter was Chartered 18 July 1971..... The Chapter schedules its general membership meeting on the third Tuesday of every other month starting in January. This formal meeting and dinner is currently held at J.W. Crancer's Dinner Club located at 530 Delaware in Leavenworth, Kansas. Chapter Board of Director meetings are scheduled in the off months starting in February. The general membership is kept up-to-date on MOAA national and local Chapter activities through either an e-newsletter and/or mailings, and guest speakers. Events and programs supported by the Chapter membership include: 1. Donations for JROTC-Leavenworth High School and MOAA National Scholarships. 2. Donations to the Backpack Buddies Program in Leavenworth County. 3. Twice-yearly membership drives through the Give Me Ten Program during the Ft. Leavenworth PAIR Vendor Days.
